Research Fellowship Programme

Work within the first laboratory dedicated to Metabolic State Verification.

KRYONIS Lab offers residential and distributed fellowships for researchers working at the intersection of biology, computation, governance, and verification. The field of MSV does not yet have departments, journals, or disciplinary homes. The Fellowship is where the discipline is being built.

Disciplines

Fields of investigation

The Fellowship is open across all disciplines relevant to Metabolic State Verification. We are particularly seeking researchers whose work spans traditional boundaries.

BiosecurityBiodefence policy, dual-use governance, biological containment architecture, infrastructure threat assessment.
BiophysicsThermodynamic state characterization of living systems, metabolic process verification, entropy profiling.
Computational BiologyBiological computing substrates, error characterization, bio-digital interface engineering, probabilistic verification.
BioethicsConsciousness boundaries, moral status of biological substrates, ontological classification of living machines.
Actuarial ScienceRisk modelling for metabolic assets, entropy-aware valuation, insurance architecture for living infrastructure.
Regulatory DesignStandards body architecture, verification protocol design, international regulatory harmonization for biological systems.

Structure

What the Fellowship provides

The Fellowship is designed for depth, not productivity metrics. Fellows are expected to produce foundational work that shapes the field.

AI-Native Synthesis Infrastructure

Full access to the Lab's multi-model analytical infrastructure — AI systems configured for cross-domain pattern detection, exhaustive literature mapping, and framework stress-testing.

Publication Support

Co-authorship within the KRYONIS Working Papers Series. Editorial and methodological support for peer-reviewed publication in adjacent journals.

Round Table Participation

Active seat in the KRYONIS Round Table — the Lab's rotational synthesis methodology where every research question is examined from every relevant disciplinary lens.

Field-Building Network

Connection to the Lab's emerging network of sovereign advisory clients, industry verification partners, and the Founding Advisory Council.
